Rates & Sessions

Our hourly rate is $35/hour. There is a 3-hour minimum per session. Also, there is a 3-hour maximum per session! (A good thing!)

The 3-hour timeframe has been shown to be the best because we are able to really see a difference without burning out. Often, when people are ready get started and stay focused, they want to "keep going until it is all done". Motivation is paramount; however, if you keep going for hours and hours (and more hours) often people just give up after mental exhaustion and do not want to do anymore. Ever. Thus, the 3-hour limit (over multiple sessions if needed) allows for greater progress in the long run.

Speaking of multiple sessions, it is difficult for Calm Surroundings to estimate how long an organizing project will take until the first session is completed. Together, after the first session, we can reassess to determine the scope of the project.

Cancellation

A $35 fee will be applied if a session is cancelled less than 24 hours before the session.
